Meeting 3 Minutes (21/Oct/02)

In attendance: Sid, Ross, Dave, Jianmei, Sonia, Sandra, Abhay, and Brian

Group Secretaries

Dave and Sonia offered to be the weekly recorders.

Project Name

Sid found a similar product called DBVis. dbViZ is the new project name by default.

Website

The website is up. There is a documentation directory (./documentation) for the write ups and a template directory (./template) containing the Rational document templates. Sid referenced his old project page as an example of what he has done in the past.

Documents

The remaining documents were picked/assigned:

·Sandra - table use case

·Jianmei - glossary

·Abhay - vision statement

A rough draft of all documents using the Rational templates is due Wednesday. All homeworks should be posted by Tuesday morning (or I believe everyone said they would be).

Schedule

Sid hopes to have a rough schedule up by Wednesday. The inception phase officially ends on Monday.

SE Tools

Several suggestions were put before the group. VISIO seemed to be the most popular. The only decision here was to be sure whatever is generated conforms to the formats decided on in meeting two.
